Beautiful capture. Even though there's some yucky details (like that yellow stuff).
may seem a little strange to some people, but everybody needs a hobby!!!!
thank you very much! its lucky i sized it down,at full resolution, each butterfly fills a 19 inch monitor, trust me,that is very gory and graphic!
i think the one on the left is the male, the yellow bit is his "thingie"!!! ovipositor i think its called?
i would put the full, uncensored, adults only, dont look while eating or copy this at home, version on here for download, but i think i would be thrown off the site, and get a very bad reputation,if i have not already!

spent all afternoon stalking another pair, hoping to get a mating shot, when i did catch them, they had just finished, all i got were a few nice shots of them getting their breath back!
had given up and was walking home and spotted this pair, then the small skippers!!!
thanks for the favourite!

i'm lucky i got the shot though,it was extremely windy and i was shooting into the sun,i had to spot meter the wings and hope for the best, could not get round the other side, there was a ditch, but the wrong light conditions can often pay off, thank goodness!!!
